Hiding in plain view

Kewl! The Japanese have invented an invisibility cloak - admittedly it's all a bit 2-d and relies on the watcher being at exactly the right angle to the thing they're not seeing, but terribly, terribly kewl anyway

I think it's so they can have really cool mobile phones that don't hide people's fancy earrings and hairdos.

People'd look pretty odd with invisible mobile phones though... all walking about with their hands stuck by the sides of their heads and talking to themselves. Or texting, all those little thumb movements would be really bizarre.

There are certainly times I think it would come in very useful.

That person you want to avoid, the quick job you need to do but know if you are seen it will turn into even more to do.
