Well, I've been slowly corrupti--introducing a friend of mind into the world of anime and manga, with the aid of another friend of hers (we live in different parts of the state, and she won't give us the other's contact information...she says it's too dangerous for her). Anyways, she's a flute major.
Amiboshi's flute music is a direct quote, a couple octaves higher albeit, of Debussy's piece Syrinx. Funny how one motive from an impressionistic piece can be taken, transposed up two octaves, and turn into a flute solo of DOOM.
Anyways, I thought it was interesting. ^_^
