cool exhibition, k2, i might not be able to make it there, but I'm sure it will bring back lots of happy memories for everyone who is lucky enough to go.

I've gone to SF a lot for work. I've always enjoyed their art exhibits at the airport, it's a lovely way to pass time while waiting for a flight. Alas, my next trip isn't passing through there.
TJ- you might be able to see it still, not sure how the SF airport is laid out, but once you pass security you might be able to see it.
I know when I flew with the kids out of Charlotte to San Dog, our flight was delayed, so we ended up touring the entire airport to kill time (and de-energize some squirrlly kids) Some youngling in the international terminal there had the foresight to bring a small ball with them and an impromptu game evolved with a bunch of the children there.

The International Terminal is in a separate area at SFO, and IIRC, we'd have to go through security again (and wouldn't be able to, without an international boarding pass). At least, that's what I recall when we flew international from there last June.
SFO is a strange airport. I mostly fly there going to or from Vancouver, Canada, and that involves going through their domestic terminal (we go through customs in Vancouver).
