This is the second year I have a high interest in pokemon in my class.
I wish I could find more books for grade ones to read/look at.
*actually no, correct that, I wish the Pokemon books I get for my class would stay in the class, not disappear home.
Children get to take home books for Snuggle Up and Read time, and then do not return them.
That is how I lost all my Franklin books last year too.
Oh well all I can hope is that they are well love in their new home.*

Cloud, for the books: try putting a big flouro post it note on it with a note that the books belong to you and need to be returned by (usually a week).
That way the parents know as well. It's great to have kiddies reading, but they also need to learn about ownership and borrowing as well, and grade 1 is a good time to start learning that.
