Oh oh oh.. Amy changing into an Eagle for a week? That would be interesting to see.
*Eyeing the Eagle and then the Condor, trying to decide which lap is more comfy*
I think I'll stay perched on the Condor's lap. Or maybe even the Owl's. Somehow, just can't feel safe on Ken's lap.
However, EbonySwannie, I am not sure I can play the Condor in CD's classroom and keep the kids in line. So far, it has been like her trying to keep me and the kids in line.. hee hee..
Posted by Transmute Jun on 25-01-2008 at 18:35:
Of course, since I am now a Condor, I'm looking for a nice Swannie to sit on my lap.
Hmmm.... do you think I could convince Dormagus to be a Swan?

I have to say it would have been interesting to see Amy as the Eagle.

Cloud does a double take there. Looks at Avatar sees first sentence .... WTF why would the Eagle want to snuggle on the Condors lap .... and had to go back and see who is writing.....whew. I guess this will all make sense when we go back to our own personalities.

It has been great having you there. Even though we do not get enough Gatch talk in this week. Now that I have introduced my class, and my student teacher to Gatch, she might allow us to talk more next time.
Especially if I can convince her to run off to Tim's for some tea for us again.

*lol* Oh, dear, I needed that.
I did not think an Owl could keep Swans or Eagles in line. Let alone a Condor. I may have to rethink my role on the team. Hmmmm ....

For a second, I thought you meant Tim/Sosai X-turned-Zark, and I was thinking how sweet he was to provide tea for you...
Then I realized that you mean Tim Horton's...

Thank you TJ.
I was thinking that would be a problem after I posted and move onto a new thread and saw Tim/Sosai post a comment.
I was going to come back and make the correction. the Condor watching out for me again.

ROTFLMAO..
That's quite something wasn't it? Am I getting back into yaoi right away? Nah.. it's just that I had my old avatar when I posted the snuggle on Condor's lap post, and then I decided to play that changing avatar game.
But honestly, that would be quite a scene!

Yes I realized what happened as soon as I checked the name. Posts are definately being read slower. So I can double check who says what.

Pssst! Yuki, would you rather watch Gatch or BOTP when you come in next week. That is if you stay all day, this time, and what happens about other units to be covered.
Hmmmm! I could get the kiddies to do some Gatch drawings for me instead, but then we should watch a few episodes before I decide to do that.

Oh I am so jealous you get to teach about Gatch! I gotta find a way to fit it into my curriculum!

Our Ministry of Education has revamped out Language curriculum and told us we have to teach Media Literacy.
I started off WTF is Media Literacy. After talking to collegues, we discovered it is using differenct types of media to create projects AND how media affects us.
So what influence do superheros have on children persuading their parents to purchase Toys, clothing, food, etc. I extended it even further to inlcude Gatch. Gatch will not affect my students but it influenced me. (Well it may influence my students when the film comes out.)

Springie, I think you're heading in the right direction. A unit on Superheroes sounds JUST like Media Literacy!!!!
BTW, when DD started in Grade 1, she began 'Media' classes. I was like, WTH is 'Media'? Apparently they go to the Library and read books. ROTFL!!!!

LOL
deep calming breaths so I can type,
Hysteria starts again thinking about that.
is that all I have to do to assign a mark? Take the class to the library, I wish I had known that.
A - takes out and returns books regularly
B- Usually takes out and returns books
c - takes out books and does not return them until a notice is sent home
D - cannot take out books because ignores notices and phone calls to parents asking for the return of 4 or more books.
Okay I have my grading Rubric.
