I like coffee shops, mostly for lunch, I have a fave that has an outdoor section next to a fountain.

I have to admit unless its for a meal I don't go to pubs much.

Where I live some pubs are set up Kid friendly... They have a main bar, then another room we generally call the 'Beer Garden.' This is where the Bistro's are. Open for kids, (baby high chairs and menus for kids) and it has its own bar off to the side that kids can go to, but of course they can't buy anything but soda. The one I like to go to "Ettamoga" even has Childrens play equipment.

I know, Aussies are strange, but don't tell us you can't take the kids out for dinner....

In NZ i don't know a place you can't take the kids too.

Cloud jumps, wondering if she can keep another person from contending for the Eagle.... no, you do not want the Eagle he is too bossy for you, giving orders all the time ... Wink2

Depends on the kind of orders he's giving...Wink1

Ohhh Dear .... It does not look like that plan worked.
Well it is a good thing I have my Owl to fall back upon, because I know there is no way I could win a battle for the Eagle. Especially against Swans and Condors *sigh*

Chiming in late. . . It's gotta be Jason/Joe. Why? Not really sure what was going through my mind when I was 8, but it hasn't changed much. I think I just liked the character and the fact that he had a really cool car. Mark was always annoying, and overly preachy. Though, I must admit that Ken is far less annoying than Mark, but just no where near the same category as Joe or Jason.

I feel pretty much the same, Amethyst, although Ken has grown on me over time and he's a close second to Joe, for me now.

As an 8 year old, I think I identified with Jason because he often didn't get his way and had to do what Mark wanted -I was the youngest in my family and I sure could relate to that! Of course, the car is cool too.

Posted by Ebonyswanne on 06-08-2009 at 08:48:

I think as a 8yr old I just thought the Eagle was cool. The Condor was always angry about something or sarcastic. But then my fave really was the Swan. She was a hero!!! Most shows only had boys as heros. I wanted to be her!

I liked Joe more, he's cooler. And Ken too I must admit. watching it again I felt Mark was preachy. (And a bit more of a goody.) But I suppose they were trying to instill good values through his example into kids..

So as an adult it became harder to chose between them..Sigh.

I always preferred Ken from when I was young, though Joe is surely not far away from my choosing him (this reflects in dating ex-boyfriends who had the latter's type of character!). I was fortunate enough to only get acquainted a very little while with Mark in BOTP before I discovered Gatchaman. Ken was my hero! I too was raised the youngest of three, my two elder brothers outcasting me! But I was also the only little girl and my dad was very strict ... he was with my brothers and more with me! (he didn't want anything to happen to his little girl, even now!) I was imposed into being obedient and I liked the fact that Ken, through his obedience, was also the leader and in control of all the actions ... something that I longed for! He sometimes also disobeyed and was hardheaded which made it more interesting watching! I practiced this side of my character out of home where I, almost every time, had the opportunity of organizing things with my friends or being the captain of my volleyball team, etc. Ken does also have his good looks ... and those blue eyes and hair!

I love them both, but I still lean more towards Ken. I suppose it has something to do with my huge crush on Mark when I was a child. I just can't resist those blue eyes and the dark, messy hair (guess that's why I can identify with Jun so much)! Heart
