I'm glad that you have escavated this thread again, UW! That's a great filk, TJ! And those pictures of Nambu, well ... no comment ... but I like the last one you sent, Springie, the one in black and white, and all those in which Dr Nambu's good looks and elegance are captured. I agree with UW ... I do seem to find Dr Nambu attractive at times! I think that we aren't that used to see him in a more casual look other than his usual. On a funny note, I also like to compare him with Ned Flanders of "The Simpsons"! Don't you?!

Lisa I would put forward as the Swan (she's smart, after all...)

Marge I would suggest as the Eagle (she holds them all together)

Maggie doesn't say a word anyone can really understand, so she would have to be the Swallow...

Leaving Homer as the Owl - but I don't want to suggest that!!

Apu could be the Owl. He's larger, but light on his feet. Can sing (I have it in my head that the Owl is a man of many hidden talents) and let's face it, the Quicky Mart would be right up his alley. All those new people to talk to everyday and all the junk food he could get his hands on.
