Top Cow is alive and well. They even got a booth set up for the Con in Memphis, Tennessee this weekend. Wonder way I don't see any on the shelves of my local store??? Going to have to bring that up.

More like, don't trust the first few things you come across. There's always the 'Search' bar.

Maybe Top Cow has limited its distribution. If they were having sales troubles, it would be better to try for a more focused strategy.

Hi. I'm really new here, like only a few minutes.

I have to admit that I'm not as up on all my information on the story line as I should be, I've only gotten back into the fandom in the last couple of months. I saw Clouddancer (hope I spelled that right) had said something way back on page one of this thread that Keyop had gone missing and was publicly declared dead. I need to know when this happened. Did I miss something somewhere? I have to confess that he's my favorite character. I'll duck now while people throw pulpy fruit and tomatoes at the crazy newby. Hiding 2

Garnet, that is only in my verison of the BOTP Universe not in canon. My universe I have been playing with the characters for almost 30 years now, so I have taken liberties with the BOTP Universe and been discovering while on this board that I have added a lot that could be considered part of the Gatchaman Universe.

Now I'm curious about your universe, CD. I'd love to hear more about this. I have to confess, so far, I've been a BotP person, but I'm aware of some things from Gatch. But this whole idea is a new one and I'm fascinated.

Do you have any fic out there in you universe. I love to read it. I've read so much fic lately that I may have seen some of yours, but they've started to blur a bit in my memory.

You'll find a lot of fic writers in this fandom have their own take on the universe.

Most of us do it to try to make sense of the holes and inconsistencies.

Two stories are from when the team are in their early teens and are in training. They are only touching the surface of my Universe.

Since I have had the team, or more specifically Mark, wandering around in my head for 30 years I have developed quite an extensive world, bringing in different things that have interested me from my life, movies I have watched or books I have read.

Mostly I have taken the Goody-Goody parts of BOTP and included the darker characteristics of Gatch and blended them all together.

If you stick around here for long enough I am sure you will start to learn about my AU, since it is such a part of my life I tend to refer to my AU a lot in my posts. Whether people want to know about it or not. watchout

Garnet, you've just stumbled across one of the joys of fanfic! Many of us wonder 'what if..?' and create fics around it. Or continue on with background meaning behind an episode,or explore what happened after that episode is over. It's just one of the fun things you can do when you're in control.
