Green! I'm joking with Marie, because in the most recent episode of the week, Ken and Joe put their hands on each other's shoulders, and I called it a 'yaoi moment'.
So yes, there's a *lot* more than 'hand on the shoulder' in Night at the J, but it's all het... there's no Ken/Joe action at all.

Green, if you want Ken/Joe I'd recommend Lori McDonald's A Reason to Live series and Rory's The Condor, The Eagle, and the Turtle or There's Something About Birdstyle.
I've not read any Mark/Jason stuff that I could get into or recommend; however UW's Condor in Love has an interesting twist to and is a very good read.

I figured that if G2 was going to have a crappy love life, it could at least NOT involve Spectra....
Green, look on fanfiction dot net under 'Battle of the Planets' for 'Condor in Love.'

Oh yes ... there's a lot more! But, at the end, things end up the way I always wished them to be!

Actually, I'm not so much into Ken/Joe. While I can see the very deep bond between them, the respect and understanding, I just can't see them ending up together.
Besides, where would that leave the Swan?

Maybe it's the Owls turn with her on those nights.

Now I KNOW the Owl would love that.

Hi all!

Interesting! I've seen "birdrang" used in so many places, I'd assumed it was some form of canon. |
|
It's a popular misconception, but a misconception nonetheless. In all vintage documentation for the series, including the model sheets, the scripts, and even the title for episode #80, it is simply called "Boomerang."
I can understand why people want to call it "Birdrang" or "Birdarang." As a name, it makes sense, especially to those of us who were brought up with Batman using his Batarang. It's a name that makes sense, and a name that sounds more dramatic than "Boomerang." I've tried pointing this out to people numerous times in the past, but a lot of fans simply don't want to hear it. They think it should be Birdrang, and refuse to acknowledge that it is not. Regardless, wishing it was true doesn't make it true.
There are those who will argue that "Birdrang" is what Ken is yelling when he throws his Boomerang. This argument falls apart when you examine the original scripts and see how often Ken's cry of "Bado ran!" is written as two distinct words.
Confusing matters are many modern pieces of Gatchaman merchandise that do claim that his weapon is the Birdrang (The Tatsunoko Vs Capcom game being one example). These retroactive attempts to change the name of the weapon do not change the facts from when the show was produced.
It is worth noting that, in the Gatchaman OAVs, Ken's weapon is called the Birdrang. So, if you're referring to the OAV Ken, feel free to use Birdrang with impunity.

Hmm, I'm not that fond of the OAV, so I'll make a point of avoiding the term "birdrang."
Thanks for the info!

I apologize if I am repeating something, but I just found You Tube vids of the minigames they have for Ken and Jun on the Tatsunoko vs. Capcom game...
Jun's seems really boring, but I LOVE Ken's!
Ken's minigame
Jun's minigame
Just a quick question...I've heard her say this before...it sounds like, "G Sango"... does that mean G3? There is a character in the anime Inuyasha (my fav) named Sango.

Yes, it does. "G" is, of course, obvious, "San" is three, and "Go" is a suffix used to indicate that the preceeding is a name or title. You'll hear all of the Ninja Team members use this whenever they mention their rank on the team or refer to their vehicles (Which use the same G-number format names as their driver). The set of 5 would include the following:
G-1 = G ichi-go
G-2 = G ni-go
G-3 = G san-go
G-4 = G yon-go
G-5 = G go-go
I hope this helps.

Pretty funny, Springie! I agree, Jun's game seems lame in comparison to Ken's.
I wonder what Joe's game will be?

I think that Ken's game should become Joe's game...I mean, what could be better for Joe than target practice using feather shuriken?

I actually find Jun's game kinda fun. But yeah, Ken's seems more tailored to Joe. They've been really quiet on the inclusion of Mini-Games fpr the new Western version. I hope they still make it in.

New video on Youtube. (from BOTP List)
Ken and Joe fight over whether or not to fire a Bird Missile.

Hee! I don't know much about this game -is there a way to tell which of them is winning the fight?
Actually, this kind of reminds me of their brawl at the beginning of episode 101, and they were pretty evenly matched there.
