I am an ENFP - Extrovert, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceiving.

On that site, after you read the basic description of your personality (I'm a Champion Idealist), you can also click and see what your recommend partner type is. Mine is a Guardian (now who does that remind you of . . .!)

Gulp, does that mean I have to do the test again!!!

LB it seems that the only difference between you and I is, you are more willing to act on your convictions where I continue to question mine. Eh Huggles

I wasn't surprised that I came out introverted instead of extroverted, or a thinker instead of a feeler (came in around 70% on both), but the "judging" (at 38%) did surprise me. I don't think of myself as being all that organized, decisive, or structured, GG, but then I think I have some uber-judgers in my family and I probably compare myself to them.

Posted by Ebonyswanne on 11-07-2008 at 22:56:

I'm not a total extravert like some of my friends,( in my teens and early twenties I was more extravert.)

I think its because my DH is an introvert, I've been hanging around him for so long... and I seem to attract introvert friends...

When I took this test in college, I was and ENFP then too - but I scored nearly 100% on the Extroverted part. Now, I am just above 50% on all categories, including E. I guess over time, I have balanced out a little - and it makes sense because I certainly do like my private, quiet time as much as I do socializing with friends. I need a balance of both to stay sane.

I'd interpret my introversion as "I like people, but I don't need people." When I was a kid, my mother made the observation that I rarely went looking for my friends, and was often happily occupied doing something by myself, but if my friends showed up looking for me, I would happily go off and play with them.

My mother, however, is very social and outgoing. I told her once that I sometimes go see movies alone and she seemed to think this was deviant behaviour!

That is one of the things I hate about being single, going out to watch movies on my own. Although I am beginning to feel more comfortable doing it. I have not, though, convinced myself I can go out to a restaurant and eat on my own. At least not anything more than a fast food place.
