Ah, the villains are kinda fun to draw...and I was laughing at Captain Doom (aka "Katzenburg")as I drew him ...he *is* one stylin' skeleton with that ascot, isn't he?

RAID is where you can sort you hard disks into an array whereby if one fails your data is not lost. There are different types of RAID.

RAID 5 is a striped array, so data spans several disks, if a disk fails a new blank disk can be placed into the system and the RAID will rebuild the data lost. This config is usually used in servers.

RAID 1 is a mirrored array, where data is written at the same time to one or more backup disks. If one falls over the other can be used and if necessary a blank disk can have the information copied to it, so that the RAID setup can continue.

RAID makes a lot of sense for more critical systems. Think I'll just stay with Second Copy. One of the few programs I push, and I really want them to stay in business. Buy it! If you know where your data is on your machine, you can tell it when and where to copy it, like "copy changed files to the USB thumbdrive every two hours, unless it's a .jpg".

Joy? Survived March Break. Dentist says daughter is almost ready to brush her own teeth both morning and evening (currently she does all mornings, including today, and half of the evenings)

Thanks, Cricket! I've been working on it alot...Drawing class will be next...if I can find one over the summer!

This cruise is the first regular family (just the 4 of us) vacation we've had...I can't wait!

I also can't wait to make mischief with gatch gril when she visits... Wink1
