Love your avatar Rory, who drew it? |

Wilson Tortosa, the penciler of the BotP comic books. I have the colored version of the BW pic in Springie (/)'s signature. Want me to share it with everyone? |

Yes please |

Rory - I'm a bit of a slasher as well. In my case, however, I have to feel that there is a "connection". I pair Ken/Joe in Gatchaman, and did do a Jason/Zoltar fic - just as a sort of experiment.
My alltime favorite pairing, however is Sirius/Remus from the Harry Potter series. Yes. I'm a Wolfstar gal (or Puppyshipper) and proud of it.
Like you - I've tried writing PWP and find that the whole plot thing keeps jumping up and hitting me on the head. (Which is why Bruise is taking so long people - the plot keeps wanting attention).
If you're really after some great Gatch slash, head on over to BirdGo (you'll recognise quite a few of us over there too).

Finding the "connection" is always the most important thing. I've got a pretty good knack for finding connections simply because I've been mainly reading Japanese yaoi. I don't read much Harry Potter Slash. I much prefer to read Harry Potter yaoi, which are not stories but actual Japanese slash comic books. There are a lot of Harry/Draco. I think I've seen one of Sirius/Remus. There a LOT of LotR yaoi though. I really love those, especially the ones made by the artist circle known as Duo Brand.
Actually, I'm also a member of BirdGo. Just posted the slash fic there too.

Welcome Rory!
I think that on this board we're all addicted to Gatchaman. I keep watching it over and again.
I agree with you Met. Japanese version sounds better than American.
I think that dubbing on BOTP was much better then on the ADV version. |
|
Dear Meg,
Thank you very much! Sadly, I doubt if I'll ever get to watch the Japanese version. Much too expensive for my measly budget.
Sincerely,
Rory |

Dear Rory, I'm not suggesting that you should buy the Japanese version. I just stated my opinion about it.
