Czesc, Meg. I'm new here too. I'm assuming the version of Battle of the Planets that you saw years ago was in Polish -I'm curious to know what names the characters had in that version, or were they the same names as the English version (Mark, Jason, Princess etc.)?

My boyfriend is Polish-American and quite fluent in the language (it's what his parents always spoke at home). I might ask you sometime to tell me how to say something in Polish so that I can surprise him!

I think you should write, Meg! It sounds like you have a very good understanding of the English language. Plus we're very forgiving here... We just like to read fics and see what kinds of stories other people come up with.

I think it's amazing so many people in Eastern Europe think their English isn't very good. Amy has said that quite a few times, and I don't see it. Amy's English is very good! I also have a very good friend who's Polish and she always says the same thing to me. But honestly, I think she has a better command of the English language than some people I know who's only language is English!

Anyway, my point was that if you like to write, then please do so! We're always grateful for any fics that come our way! Dobrze? Smile

Dziekuje Hino,
That's so sweet.
I'm not ready to write fics yet.
And I don't know that Ego character yet. I haven't seen Gatchaman II in any form of it yet.
But I hope I can come up with something else one day. :-)

Hi Iborgia88,
The BTOP was with Polish lector. The characters had their original names: Mark, Jason, Keyop, Zoltar, and 7-Zark-7.
Princes and Tiny were translated to Polish :"Ksiezniczka" and "Maly".

I'll be happy to help you with some Polish :-)

Don't worry about Ego. I think quite a few of us here don't know much about him, which is why it's good that Amy's here, because she's an expert! Wink3

Whenever you're ready to write, we'll be here ready to read it!

Don't worry, Meg...we'll try to wait patiently until you are ready to write...in the meantime, you can throw out suggestions and let us know what you think of our fics! Cheeky

Hi Madilayn,
My hubby is an Aussie, too. We've been married for ten years now, but we haven't been in Oz yet. Hope go there it soon, so I can see where he grew up.
