Yes. This hot and cold is not good. When I work, I go from house to house (I'm a Social and Health Helper - soon to continue my education to become Assistant - then I can work in the hospital - I'm very excited about it ) and this way I got sick. I'm still recovering Sick1

And the next storm has begun, here in Ontario.

It started around noon and by home time we already had about an inch on the ground, and it is still coming down. Now they are nice big fluffy flakes, so I guess the temps. are still rising along with the wind getting stronger.

Well one mre week and we have our time change, and three more weeks until the start of Spring. Lets get this last storm in and then be done with winter.

Thank you Hino, Ebonyswanne, and Springie. Now I'm better. I think that from Monday I'll be back at work. Now I keep myself warm.

And it's blowing another gale force wind again. DK is a fun place to be if you like it.Wink2

There's a strong wind/gale here as well.

I think someone should tell Gail off for being windy by eating those Extra Strong Bake Beans.

What's the forecast for UK for today. We're expecting 35m/s wind at the west coast of Denmark.

I have the same problem at work. We're doing a major renovation, moving stuff from one end of the store to the other, lots of lifting. So I'm working up a sweat, then have to pull the fleece off and flash my co-workers because I had so much static electricity my T-shirt was coming off with it. I've got long hair too...*ZAP!* I've got the scarecrow look down!

Then I have to go into the stockroom where I freeze because the bay doors are open and a truck is being unloaded.

One of my co-workers is training to be a paramedic so she has to have all of these immunizations and tests like for tuberculosis...the girl hasn't even had the chicken pox!

Oh, I'm overwhelmed with your kindness guys. Thank you all. Now finally after 10 days I'm back to normal life. Animerose

Glad to hear you're feeling better Meg...there are some really nasty flu bugs going around.

Well there's supposed to be a high of 8 degrees today. It's only 9AM and the snow is melting quite rapidly...I already have a very slushy backyard.

I'm happy it's over, too Kimiko. I hate being stuck at home.
I love it when it's white around. It looks sad when it all begins to melt.
So far we had one snow day over here (good for me, as I'm driving on summer tires - simply because winters are so mild in DK) . Let's see if we get any more this year.

Posted by Firebird on 03-03-2008 at 15:29:

its bright over here but cold at times especially early morning and evening (the time when I happen to be going to and from workTongue)

"But you didn't tell them the fun part Kimi." And Cloud adds sarcastically "for the next week they are forcasting 1-3 cm of the white stuff to fall everyday."

Well I guess that will be okay as long as we get sun as well to melt it. With the sun shining as brightly as it is, the snow will melt quickly off the black top and roads, but where it lands on top of other snow it will start accumulating again.
