Yes in winter in some regions (Victorian mountains Victoria,Snowy Mountains in NSW,) but it is nothing like Europe,Canada or the America, and it only lasts for a short period of time. They use snow making machines in ski fields, if that gives you an idea, our snow is not generally more like ice than soft powder...They get the most in August/ September.

Well the centre of Australia is a desert... so it is warmer here, and we are not far from more tropical climates, being close to Asia...LOL

She used to walk to my house so we could catch the bus together...she lived a few blocks from my house.(it was no biggy really, my mum used to make me trendy clothes, and buy them for me...mum didn't know that I lent them to her on Mufti day. *grins*
