Ebony sits with another glass of red wine in her hand and observes the bar around her as the Eagle sidles up next to her.

"I need you help." he asks her, shyly looking in Jun's direction as she spoke to her friend Springie.

"why would you need MY help, your the mighty white shadow after all!" She stated as he offered to buy her another drink.

"You don't buy drinks here?" she chuckled as she took another sip of her wine."You bludge off Jun!..we Swans stick together, so this had better be good." she insisted.

She was not going to sucked in by those gorgeous blue eyes as she tried to look away.

"Why does everyone know about my tab!" he exclaimed..in frustration. "The ISO really should pay us you know." The sudden thought entered his head He shook his head and began to tell her his problems. "What the SNT come for FREE! ...Underpaid and over worked!" He moved closer.

"Look all I want is the pictures...Me and the Swan...and the destruction of the Condor/Swan swooney ones...he has enough women...then the bastard steps in on mine!"

He was sulking now..."Get a grip Ken!" Ebony told him putting a comforting arm on his shoulder..maybe there was hope yet for her to snare him.

She watched as the Condor moved in on TJ...A few others walked into the bar...

Owl continues to sit in the corner, knowing everyone THINKS he is slow. But he really loves to watch. With all these Swans around one of them is likely to get some hurt feelings and when/if someone need comforting or a stong shoulder he will be there.

For now though he is watching with pretended wide-eyed innocence, observing/storing everything that is going on. Who knows which piece of information he could use for revenge/blackmail purposes later - and on who.

Another lovely young woman enters the bar... but this one barely notices the frustrated Eagle or the occupied Condor. CD walks carefully up to the Owl, who is distracted by the shenanigans of his teammates.

"Guess who?" she whispers into his ear, her hands covering his eyes playfully.

"My Dancer!" the Owl exclaims, turning around in his seat and gazing at CD warmly. "I was wondering if I'd get to see you tonight..."

"Ah my favourite Owl, I heard you were digging up some juicy gossip so I thought I might drop in and see what you have found."

Cloud pulls out her laptop and open up to a fresh word document.

"Tell me all... I'll just note it down for future *evidence.*"

"By the way did you get a look at those Swan/Eagle/Condor picies? I wish someone would do more Owls, but us quiet types always do tend to go unnoticed." Cloud sighs.

Springie Swan cocks her head to one side as she overhears CD and the Owl...did I hear a piccie request? *grins menacingly*

"I'm noticing you." the Owl responds blushingly.

"Ohhhhh..... you're good." CD breathes. "No wonder I like the strong, silent type!"

"Let me show you how strong I can be..." he whispers into her ear.

"Are you saying you have enough *dirt* on everyone?" Cloud whispers back, starting to pack up her laptop.

"Because if you do .... I would love to see what you have done to the boathouse since my last visit." Cloud purrs in the Owl's ear.

Cloud looks around the Snack J. "Do you think we can escape without being noticed? You know, the Eagle usually notices everything, but do you think all these Swans will be able to keep him distracted."

The Owl glances over at the Eagle. He is begging Jun for another drink while surreptitiously keeping an eye on the full portfolio in the redhead's hand. Meanwhile Ebony is whispering in his ear, directing him on how to pry to drawings from the redhead... or perhaps offering to make him some herself... if only she could have the right model for her work.

"He won't notice." Cloud says confidently, pulling her Owl from the room.

The redhead pulls out a piece of paper and hands it to the Owl..."Sorry, Owlie boy, it was the best I could do...if you want to see a hot Owl pic...you'll have to talk to Regi...but I *did* think this idea was cute"...Cheeky

This reminds me of the CG Gatchaman poster.

It's another great picture from you, Springie!

I love the picture too Springie. I thank you and the Owl thanks you too.

I have to say though it is hard to find Owl stuff around. People seem tp love tormenting the Eagle and pairing the Swan with either the Eagle or the Condor.

I even found some Condor/Eagle stuff, but I have to admit I ran like He ...... when I first saw it blush. Blushing
I have been very slowly and carefully sneaking my way back though.

Jinpei peeps over the Owls shoulder,"Hey bro thats a great picture of us!"The swallow shouted excitedly.."I think I'll put this one up behind the bar."

The Swallow took the piccie from the Owls hand and walked away leaving him alone with his admirer again.

CD moved in and ran a finger down his chin,"You were saying..." she asked him as she moved in closer with her laptop.

"Ohh yeah,"The big guy said scratching his head."You know CD, if you want I could show you around the God Phoenix sometime, just you and me..."

She caught the look in the Owls eye, things just got better for her...

"And your fan fics?" she asked him.

"Anything you want babe...I'm all yours" He told her putting his arm around his girl.

Ohh! Now CD had a hard decision to make.

The God Phoenix or the Boathouse.

She had heard so much of the upgrades the Owl had made to his boathouse. That hot tub sounded preaty good but the God Phoenix was a very special treat, she knew.

Decisions, decisions.

While CD was trying to make her decision she got a messaage on her phone

Emergency: Your house is being flooded. Pipe to dishwasher has exploded, 2 inches of water in the basement. Please return back to real life and stop playing with those Birdies.

I Now have men running all around at my beck and call helping me look for property damages, pulling down dry wall, vapor barrier and insulation. My new furnace, installed less than 3 weeks ago need to be inspected.

And worse of all my boxed collection of Gatchaman and BOTP DVD's have been soaked. Boxes being thrown in the garbage. I am hoping I can save the DVD covers.

Cloud whines: RL go away and leave me alone, not sure how much more I can take this summer.

Ooops have to run and answer more questions again.
Will try to get back later.

Oh, no! CD, I am so sorry... I hope that you are able to dry out the covers and replace them... do you have homeowner's insurance that is covering this? Huggles

I'm back for a bit, everyone has left.

I now have huge fans blowing around in the basement and on the main floor and four dehumidifiers. I may have to escape to my bedroom for some quiet.

Yes, it looks like my home insurance will cover the big work - reconstruction of the basement and the flooring in my kitchen and probably living room and dining room.

At this time I am unsure of the little things like most of my paperback novels that were in my reading area in the basement or my DVD collection. I also lost a few teaching resources but luckily most of them I keep in plastic containers.

They may say the DVD's are still usable it is just the covers and boxes that were damaged. Will have to see what my adjuster will allow.

I want to cry but I am trying to laugh about it. Next week I was suppose to put in my new kitchen cabinets and dishwasher this is now delayed by a few weeks. Two weeks ago I cleaned the carpets in the dining room and living room now they may be removed.

Ugh, that sounds like a real pain. I'm so sorry, but at least the insurance will cover a lot of it. Huggles

Next time, put your Gatch DVDs under one of these Umbrella . I'm sure the insurance will pay for that preventative measure. Wink

I do hope the damage isn't too bad. At least the DVDs should be wateproof (I hope).
