--- What was the last episode you watched? (http://www.gatchamania.net/threadid.php?threadid=3313)
Shudder.
I am sitting here imagining all those injuries and feeling slightly queazy. I think it is more the "thought" than the actual "seeing" that affects me as well. Sometimes my thoughts can make things appear much worse than they are.
I got a deep paper cut on my finger once and when I pulled the cut open to see how deep, I imagined the cut going down to the bone causing me to get dizzy. *Yes I do know it is not quite possible for a piece of paper to cut to the bone but still....*

You're right, CD! Sometimes, the thoughts that come to one's mind when imagining things are worse than the very endurance of such!
Amethyst ... you seem to have had your share of injury experiences during your childhood!
LB, you're right about head injuries! A couple of years ago, my son ran into a rounded corner of a piece of furniture and bumped his forehead, just above his eye. As blood came gushing out incessantly I found myself panicking because I thought that the injury was bigger than it really was! Thanks goodness, I managed to handle the situation, feeling relieved when all the blood was cleared and finding that it was only a small cut!
From my part, the only once I remember fainting was when I had cut my thumb with the edge of a rectangular tin ... the cap of my thumb got teared out in a whole piece and kept hanging only to a thread of skin. Again ... it wasn't the sight of the blood but the queasiness I felt when I saw that piece of meat hanging and that tearing sensation!

Yikes! That would have freaked me out too. I once caught the end of my index finger in a slamming door. PAIN!! Too afraid to look at it, I hastily grabbed a paper towel and wrapped it around my finger. And then I suddenly felt so queasy and light-headed, I had to lie down on the floor right then and there. Though in my case, once I got up the nerve to actually look at my finger, it was bruised but otherwise intact -no blood. But believing that it surely must be mangled pulp (that's what it felt like!) had been enough to make me nearly faint.
The last time I tried to clip Malkin's nails, she took a swipe at me and caught me right between my nose and my upper lip. It bled most dramatically, but was nowhere near as bad as it seemed.
I think it's all those capillaries in the head and face.

the last episode I saw was the movie Las Cinco Estrellas del Aguila. the one with a few episodes from Gatchaman II grouped together into one long movie.
That one is hysterical! Keep in mind that a lot of the footage was 'doctored'. It's 'unofficial' and was based off of some 'lifted' animation, with new stuff added (like Jinpei's Peter Pan sequence). Still, it's hysterical, and has me whenever I see it!

LOL, if you like that one, watch the episode where Katse attacks the fake Crescent Base and gets covered with red dye. His expressions of gloating and absolute terror are hysterical!

Episode 8 for the first time today, and I really enjoyed it. What a great episode! And the fight at the end is one of the best I've seen in the show so far.

I'm glad you're enjoying the series so far, Allen!

Last episode I watched was episode 9. Ken was being kind of mean to Jun in the part where he told her to give him the tape, and she even responded by saying "Okay, you don't have to yell at me.". I felt so sorry for her that I wished I could give her a hug.

Last one I watch was Eagle Riders "Terror at the north pole" (something like that) with Barney the wonder sled dog, that dog was bandaged up and still managed to sled Hunter to the Borac
I'm not sure if I like Hunter yet or just want to slap him and this Joe is growing on me and I hope as I get through more episodes that they are nicer to Ollie.
But I have to say I love Mallanox and even the sarcasm of Cybercon is growing on me especially when I said how hard it is to get good help
I still can't get use to their vehicles yet.

Allen, you're right about that scene. Ken is being rather heavy-handed and superior... Perhaps he was channeling his father. fortunately, he got over that.

True, I remember thinking he was being a bit of a jerk in another very early episode, ep. 2 when he snaps at Jun for admiring the underwater scenery. I guess he was still getting into his stride as leader (or the writers were in writing him).
