I've been on facebook about nine months but have only just learned that it has instant messaging, although it's reputed to not work all that well (so says my niece).

Besides friending people on Facebook, there are also a bunch of Battle of the Planets and Gatchaman groups that you can join. You can also start your own group very easily. (Frankly, from what I've seen of all of you so far, any group you start on Facebook would probably become the definitive group!) One thing nice about the group is you can very easily post links to other sites, art, vid, all that - and there are more people out there on FB that are over 30 then you would originally suspect.
If you are not very familiar with Facebook, you can use the "Search" box (where you search for friends) and it will also search for groups. If you put in gatchaman, about 6 listing show up, as well as listings of people who have mentioned gatchaman in their FB profiles.

As for me on google - apparently I'm a very well known casting director in the US.
