Yesterday it was hot and sunny 32c...but Its 19c here today, dark and raining lots. It considered a cold day for this time of year in the Southern hemisphere.

So SJ, you won't be the only buried in snow. I wonder if that bionic St Bernard will be availlable.

Met, living in England you have no idea what being burried in snow is. until you have min. 6 foot snow banks around your.
But I will agree that over there since you rarely get snow you will have a poor time of it.

Here we a having bright sun and 0 - 2 degree temps all weekend.
Beer Here is to hoping the snow banks loose a few feet of snow.

It's 5C here now, going up to a balmy 8C for Sunday. (I wasn't being sarcastic when I said "balmy". At this point, anything above about 5C is balmy!). Big Grin

It's been nice here, the snow is melting away and we cranked open all the windows to get some fresh air in the house!

But I gather from the news that the midwest folks aren't having a great easter weekend...Snow & Flooding

Yes my dog has been enjoying the sun as well Kimi, and I have even let the cats out to wander along the fence above the snow.

Actually, we do have temps that low and interesting enough, it was forecast snow last weekend. So, while I was listening to my local football (soccer) game on the radio (30 minute car ride from my house) it was said by one bloke that it was snownig, so I looked out of my window and could only see blue skies. Confused, I went upstairs to see this snow cloud over Wolverhampton and saw to the west of my house, a big grey cloud, which was no where near me.

I can barely remember snow in the 80s and early 90s

Met, when I was living in Henley in the early 90's we had about an inch of snow. I have pictures of Crocus's blooming in the snow....somewhere.

In Britain, we have just time travelled about 2 am and went forward 1 hour from GMT to BST (British Sumer Time) and this morning, it's sunny and blue skies.

Ooh, we had our time change a few weeks ago, thanks to the new Energy Saving bill. I was actually thinking yesterday about how we'd already been through it, and so didn't have to lose an hour this past weekend. Big Grin

I hope you're not too tired today, Met! Huggles
