im off work with a slipped disc right now so its given me lots of time to work on it Going to get more supplies on Friday, another load of 6mm Depron for the next project
as well as get the engine and prop for this, hopefully test flight will be next week will get video of it

Ok, slight change of plans. When i took the Phoenix into the model shop he was almost jumping up and down with excitement (love seeing an older bloke actually happy bout something, they usually look so miserable lol )
The original plan was to place a pusher propeller on the back of the phoenix BUT, when the guy saw how i had built it, with plenty of empty space inside he pretty much insisted that i put an EDF (electro ducted fan) deep inside the fuselage, cut out the air inlets and put some ducting in so it forces the air thru the EDF.
The guy reckons that it should "scream thru the air" (his words, not mine)
Basically this means that there will be NO PROPELLOR and it will have the air being blasted thru the jet outlets at the back
No prop means that it will look like a jet whilst in flight
Im very happy with it. One thing tho, im gonna have to half dissasemble the airframe to make all the changes that are needed but it wont take too much to do and it will not damage the airframe.
Will take some photos as i make the changes.
Also, thanks to everyone for being so kind, I dont usually make a habit of hanging out on Forums but i bet im gonna be here for a good long time
