I always wanted older sibs especially when it came to home work problems and boyfriend problems, especially if I had a brother like the Condor to "chase away all the nasties"

yes I did, but like I said I try to "pretend" to ignore the requests.
Although I am not sure how much longer I can. When I am at school I can say yes I am ready to post. As soon as I get home, where my computer and story are.... the fear returns. I hear the criticism and laughter of my classmates as they read and laugh at a story I wrote and left on my desk..... and see the rude comments they wrote all over it.

First of all, no one here makes rude comments. And if they did, I would send the Swans over to make them regret it. So there!
And, your story is wonderful. There is nothing to criticize. We will not laugh at it but enjoy it. And if someone makes a comment or suggestion, it is because they want to help you make it better, NOT because they don't like it.
Am I making sense?
I thought
had chased all of those voices away. Do I have to send in the
?

CD, don'y worry! You will never get negative criticsm. Ever! And if it makes you feel more secure, post it while you are at school.
As for your classmates, ask them to write a story by themselves before mocking on outher people ones. And just IGNORE them!
Ah, the only thing that impeds my posting is the lack of time. And I want to finish this fic. (Which will take several months given my current ideas) + finish the other ones I've started. Damn writer block!

You are making sense. I can tell no one here would make rude comments about my fic, that is not the problem, it is trying to get over hearing the other criticisms and rude comments that I have a problem with. I have listened to them for so long and felt unworthy for so long, 20+ years, it is hard to stop listening to them.
It is that.... if you hear "you are no good for long enough then you start to agree and feel that way" Dr. Phil of Oprah talk about.
Does THAT make sense?
Please do send the Condor he might be able to chase away those demons in my head.

Or how about Gatch Team gets too much homework to do and they no longer have the time to fight Gallactor! Of course, Ego is the teacher!

School friends can be the wrong, maybe those ones were insecure and had to pick on someone else to cover it up CD, did you ever think that maybe they were the ones who were afraid, afraid to try!
We won't do that to you! Hold your head CD because your a WINNER!!!!
CD I want you to look in the mirror every morning and say to yourself... "I'm feeling like a winner today, and everything I do shows that I am."
And winners don't cave to cowards who have bring someone else down to make themselves look good...
The Owl was a winner! He was on th SNT, even if his family never knew how good he really was!
Damn I wish I could give you the DVD "The secret" to watch...The laws of attraction...

If you think I should watch it, what I can do is go look it up in the local video store.
Of course with everything else I have going on I am not sure when I will have time.

Yes, that does make sense. I have similar issues (with different things). But you have to remember that this si a SAFE environment. This is NOT your schooldesk where everyone can see. I don't think the voices have a registered account on Gatchamania.

CD I wish we could take all your demons away and give back the confidence they took from you.
We have liked your little exerpt and your poem, I can see no reason why any story you pst will be different.
You have told us about the world you write in and it sounds fascinating and I would love to learn more and I am sure that many others here would like more too.
TJ is an excellent Beta reader if you need that.
Maybe share it through Im's/email with a couple of people first and if it helps after they give feedback post it in the library?
It took a lot of encouragement for me to start writing and posting stories because I thought my were really bad and when I compare some now to other talented people on the site I still feel I have a little way to go to raise my game.
In your case you have planned it out in so much detail, you give the impression that your alt universe is a big part of you and you experience it with them.
I hope you find the courage to share some more of your work and look forward to the day when you can happily post things without those voices getting in the way.
One of the things I did for a bully a while back in a class I taught was to get everyone to write a small story about something that made them sad and these were all read out. Even the bully had a sad story and in sharing that gave everyone an insight into how things said can hurt more than physical blows.
As they say the pen is mightier than the sword!
Know that we think you are great and we have every faith in you CD

*sniffle* Thank you FB. Let me say all this encouragement is strengthening me each day. And hearing things like that makes me happy to have friends like you. I know I am in a safe, friendly environment and really do want to post. If it is not up tonight, it will be sometime tomorrow, over at the Clubhouse first.
