Sounds like it's going to be awesome fun! I'm hoping that my flight at last one way will be paid for by work (if I work in the office down there for a day or so).

I'm pretty sure you'll *never* get my DH to drink a beer, but he'll have a mixed drink like once a year (maybe a margarita?) or a glass of wine.
OTOH, he'll easily be able to talk about all of that stuff you mentioned....

I'm in Toronto's time zone. Best bets are between 9:30 and 2:30 weekdays, and Friday evenings between 9 and 10pm.
Not sure how the weekly schedule will shape up, but it's usually quasi-predictable once other things are in place.

Bad news: I can't make it to Sydney in January. Plane fares are OK, but just can't afford the hotel costs.
