Thats a very true observation.

most posties do not know how to deal with dogs, indeed out of fear may do the wrong thing. (like run away...easy to get rid of postie and dog in one fell swoop.)

I have done delivery work and never had any trouble with dogs. (been bitten by many an owner, though)

Herc knew his myth; he knew Cerberus was there to keep spirits IN, he was also fond of buns.

(So far I have failed to comment on unorginiality of HP...)
