You're definitely not hijacking the thread, Jason! I'm always happy to hear about what goes on "behind the scenes" and at Comic-Con. It sounds like a blast! Smile

Just so you know I didn't forget... I had a look through my closet and two of my dressers but the world tour shirt wasn't there. So I looked through my inventory list of items in storage and found it listed. I guess at one point I didn't want to wear it out by continuing to put it on. I'm very likely to get to my storage this week, so I'll make a note to root the box out and take a picture of the shirt back while I'm there.

We included a good gag about the OAVs on the shirt, but I'll let you discover that in the picture. ;-)

Great! The more the better. We try to meet each day at the Convention Center and have several gatherings elsewhere during the week. I'll hope to see you out here this year too!

LOL. That's totally how I felt the first time I went to Vegas for work, and was dropped off at the Paris hotel. They drop you off at the far end of the casino and you have to walk through it to get to the front desk. The inside of the Paris is painted and styled like a French village kinda, so I'm wheeling my suitcase over cobblestones and staring at the painted village and its painted sky, surrounded by beeps and bings and flashing lights. I felt very much like I was in some stage production where some small-town girl arrives in the big city. Tongue

Hi all,

It took me all week but I was finally able to get down to my storage. Thankfully the one box with shirts in it was easy to access, so...

As you can see, we had a lot of fun with the shirt. The dates are the original airing or release dates of the episodes from all three series, the animated theatrical film or the OAVs.

There were only about 40 shirts total and I think only about 25 of those made it into the wild. Preparations for our first gathering were done *very* quickly. So there wasn't as much time to offer the shirts for pre-order. Those who got them outside of our group that year were real lucky.

I saw someone at the Comic-Con with one about five years ago. It was a bit less black after multiple washings, but it still stood out. I had to go say thanks for the order and the guy said it was still one of his favorites. Nice to hear!

The pictures are my way of being lazy and not wanting to type all the names up again or go looking for my 1997 backup discs. But I hope this helps with your question about locations. Sorry it isn't a map. I will remember to post the Utoland pre-production map once I get it done though.

Best,

Jason, the other

Haha! That is so cool, Jason! It does look like you guys had fun with it! Love the tour and concert titles, too! Laugh2

Looking forward to the map, too...I think I remember seeing it before, but it has been a while. Always helps to see their vision of things...

That is so cool, Jason!

I suppose it's wishful thinking on my part that any more would ever be produced?

Thanks for sharing though.
