She would marry the fat old man, since he, like everyone else, has more money than Ken.
(And who would think the son of Rat Bastard be a good catch? We all love Ken, but would we marry someone who puts duty above love?)

*shrug* On some level I can appreciate someone who understands that the fate of the world comes before their own needs. That and the fact that keeping Kena in his life would put her in massive danger.

Good points...I don't think Kena would be strong enough to hang in there...although...she might surprise me.
Tengu...who is the fat old man with the money? Were you thinking of someone specific or just a random "sugar daddy"?

The one Rachel mentioned in her first post.
I was thinking of one of Mr Pratchets YA books, in which Tiffany Aching doesn't believe in a romantic novel, as she knows that any real farm girl would choose the man rich enough to own his own horse.
(Mr Pratchets YA works are often better than his general audience writings, IMHO...Often darker too)
...BTW, if you know that rich fat mans telephone number....

Hahaha...oh yeah! I had already put him out of my mind! Lol...but of course, he would have more money than
Ken ( wouldn't take much to have more than Ken)
If I see his number, I'll pass it along...
