Thanks for the advice, hugs & suggestions!

Following the blue jello incident, my week went as follows:

husband flew to Europe
daughter still sick
I was sick
it snowed and snowed
school was cancelled for two days
thing 2 got hurt sledding
took thing 2 to ER
thing 2 got cute little purple cast (today)
husband home!!!

What limb is the cute little purple cast on? I hope you're all OK now.

I haven't yet survived the teenage years.

For sports here, they have to have a D or higher in 5 core classes, so they can have Fs in anything else and still play sports. There's no grade point average requirement. I think there should be.
