Oooo, Yul, I totally agree. It seemed so unfair that she could whisk in and take Ken away, especially when he didn't have all his wits about him. Very sneaky girl

Cannot point my finger, either! I don't like Kena's behaviour just because I know of Jun, or better, because I've always thought of Ken and Jun as a potential couple ... but, if I were in her place ...!!!!

I agree with all of you...Kena came off as desperate, clingy and annoying! All of those traits would totally run Ken off if he was in his right mind! And Jun needed to tell Kena to "back off"! Biglaugh1

Eagle Riders - Eva who impersonated Kelly in order to make them pay for killing her father (oh no the Borac lied) - good manic hysterical laughter , then she just folded .... okay her father was still alive "what have I done" and then she helps them

Lisa , hunters ex? and her psyco fiance.. she was a bit to wishy washy - (how come so far in the Eagle Riders Hunter and Ollie get more girls than Joe...this is wrong ..so wrong)

ps going through the Eagle Riders Bit by Bit, it's so different ...to defend the global good..snigger..

Actually, LW, in Eagle Riders, I thought the often implied that Kelly and Joe wsere sweet on each other. There would sometimes me a look, or some gentle words... things that weren't necessarily present in the original Gatchaman. And the K3 ep.... yeah, Joe Thax has a love interest. Luvu2

If I recall, Eagle Riders didn't use that part of ep. 13 where Joe fantasizes about a happy future with Kathy the cyborg. Oh, probably because she was completely an android in ER (and "dies"), but it did eliminate one of Kelly's rivals!

I always wondered if it was because they wanted to create something for Kelly and Joe and didn't want Kathy getting in the way. They also went out of their way to give Hunter a love interest (Lisa) who wasn't really a love interest in Gatchaman... so basically ER took out Joe's stiffest competition for Kelly's interest!
