Oh yeah - you definitely hve to be careful. There is quite a bit of stuff that I take issue with there - but I'm not the site owner and if it doesn't breach the site TOS, then can't do anything.

On the other hand, there has been stuff that we as mods have deleted because it was just too distrubing.

The big fight is to get well written fic. Unfortunately it seems that adult site also invites bad writing - but it's the other members that are fighting this fight as well. AFF had for some time a really bad reputation as a poorly written porn site.

It's taken a number of years and a change of site owner to start to mend that reputation, and the quality of writing has improved vastly in the past couple of years since the Jaxxy took over site ownership.

Maddy it looks like you'll be too busy to write fanfic and "Generations" for a while!! You have your hands full with AFF and original stories. Have they given you any deadlines yet?

I'm not too busy to write fanfic - including Generations. I've been a mod at AFF for a few years - and we work in shifts so that we only end up doing a few hours each week each.

As for deadlines - they're loose as it's only an initial approach. They want to see an outline with a sample chapter within three months, and then if they accept we discuss deadlines then.

But fanfic is fun! And Generations is a labor of love.
