Oh, yeah. And the amusement park in the Patogiller ep.
And for other hidden bases, there's that mansion just outside Lawnpark City with the base beneath it. And just how did Galactor manage to sneak their base into Utopia while the ISO was building it? Methinks some of the contractors were not what they seemed.
Damn, Galactor could end up ruining the entire concept of 'amusement park' for the world!

But Galactor paid for ir. I can't recall which episode it was off the top of my head, but I seem to recall that one of their mechas was recycled into a ferris wheel at the end of the episode...

That was the 'Mechanika' episode. Dr. Nambu programmed the mecha to become a Ferris Wheel. So, in this case, Galactor's machine became part of a park.
(The economic and political effects of Galactor's machinations are fodder for plenty of fics -- but only for people who know enough about those topics to do them justice.)

If I were a kid watching Gatchaman, I think I'd be looking over my shoulder any time I was at an amusement park -Galactor is always there!
Oh...fabulous! I like this episode...so much silliness! And I, too, have always giggled at the guy with the mask who was sitting behind Ken...I always love to look at the faces in the crowd around them- some of them are hilarious!
Great work on this ep, TJ! Your comments are "da bomb"! (sorry, I just had to add in that ridiculous bomb reference)
