As for Aberia's homeland, she lived in Damsterdam, the capitol city of Hollanda.

In '86, when I was sixteen, I was on a 10-day London-Paris-Amsterdam school trip. The teacher-chaperones let us go pretty much wherever we wanted to in London and Paris, as long as we were at least in pairs, but we arrived in Amsterdam just in time to check into our hotel and then head out again for a pre-arranged dinner at a youth hostel. The hostel's dining room was filled with teenagers, all of whom appeared to be either really drunk, really stoned, or some combination of both -quite the sight for us naive and well-behaved little Nova Scotians! The rest of the time in Amsterdam, the teachers wouldn't let any of us out of their sight!
