Gachapin is supposed to be a young dinosaur, so it's safe to assume that Gatchapin is one too. He has a friend, Mukku, who is a young sasquatch. Mukku turns up later in the run as Dr. Mukkun.

Yes, there is. On the weekends, the previous five episodes are all available for viewing. So you'll have those two days in which to watch any episodes that you missed during the week.
Come Monday, though, the previous week's episodes are gone, replaced by the next batch of episodes.
And, in case you haven't noticed, episode #4, "Pursuing Gatchapin!," is now online.

Well, Go Go! Gatchapin was produced in two chunks of 20 episodes each, both featuring Pierre Katse struggling against Gatchapin. This was followed up by Science Ninja Team Gatchapin, a 10 episode series featuring toys and action figures being used like marionettes, and had Gatchapin and Dr. Mukkun fighting Berg Katsepin and his henchmen. During the run of the series, Gatchapin is joined by the rest of the Science Ninja Team in Gatchapin form. There was then a second series named Science Ninja Team Gatchapin, but this was once again a live action series, with people in the Gatchapin and Dr. Mukkun costumes (But none of the other Ninja Team characters), with Gatchapin fighting a different "mystery man" in each of the 20 episodes.
So, adding up the total runs of all the Gatchapin series, there are 70 episodes. If Fuji Kids runs all of them, there will be new Gatchapin episodes for 14 weeks.
And, if that weren't enough, there are also 2 special stories that were made for the DVD release. These special videos haven't turned up anywhere else.
