That just leaves the musical score.

Anyone here with musical composition skiils?
(or willingness to beg Tatsunoko for permission to use the original numbers?)

Guitar Band drumming

Ummm? Which of the original numbers would you use for the smut scenes? Animegiggle
And there would be lots of them if TJ and LB were left up to the script.

Oh, use the theme from G-Force! With that backbeat, it's perfect! Drummer

I believe there was 'love theme' music IIRC... they used it as the 'happy peaceful background music' at times... Let me check my iTunes... it's called Fushichou no Youni. The Crescent Moon piece would work as well.

And for those of us who watched BOTP, there's the Ready Room Disco (if you're into cheesy smut) or (if you're super twisted) Zark's Theme.

Oh... this is too much fun... imagining the smut scenes to these pieces. Bwaaaaaa haaaaa haaaaaa..... pound

ETA: I'm listening to Ready Room Disco right now, thanks to this post, and I just can't stop the giggles.... Animeflower

I'm no use here -I can hum the Gatch tunes that I like best to myself here, but I have no idea what they're called.

I only know because I have mp3s with the titles. If you really want those tunes, drop me an email. Wink

I can't think of the Crescent Coral Base theme..all I can think of is that annoying beep in the background whenever they are there...

I will never hear these background pieces the same way again.... ROFL 2

Thanks for the info on Imagi's finances, James. Interesting about the third movie ("Tusker") that Imagi's planning on producing and releasing... "Reminiscent of the Lion King", huh? Wasn't the whole debate about the Lion King that it was a rip-off of the anime "Kimba, the White Lion"?

<As she types, all Hino can hear is the disco backbeat of the ready room and has visions of Mark and Jason playing ping-pong with Princess looking on, lust filling her eyes... Oh, jeez, I can't even finish this thought!> Laugh2

I would absolutely tackle the production management/producers role on that film! First thing I'd do is make sure the casting couch was in a warm, comfy place . . .

James thanks for the insight to some hope for the new movie. Lets just hope it doesn't fall through.

It would be good to know the titles, so I wouldn't have to think of them as "that slow horn piece that plays when something sad is happening" or the "dunh, dunh, dunh music that starts whenever there's suspense and foreboding"!

I recognize that - the dunh dunh, dunh, dunh. Pop. Whirrrrr piece I call it. Not sure if there really is a pop but that is how I remember it.

Then there's one of my favorites: the 'Happy Shupa Trumpet Music'. Wink

Cheap and smutty with a love triangle between the Eagle and Swan and Condor... Angsty angsty and then of course the 'love song' that goes along with it. A mutant baddy and some Galactor goons with wacky mechas and big guns....

Sounds like my kinda Gatchaman movie...lets get started girls and guys!!!
