When I looked at the top picture I noticed the Swan in high heels... Did she have to learn deportment so she could run in them gracefully and not fall flat on her face. I know what I'm like running in high heels.

Depends on the heels. Fancy shoes with high heels spell sudden death for me. Tongue I can't walk in the things at all. But bootheels are OK. I have a pair of riding boots that I can run in, although not gracefully . . . well, I don't run gracefully anyway . . . .

Don't they store various gadgets inside the heels of their shoes? Maybe Jun had extra things she needed to bring with her. Laugh1

I can generally get around in high heels, but if I can't sit down periodically, my feet will start to hurt after a few hours, and I would not try running!

I've been doing better with high heels since I discovered the wedge kind. But I still teeter in the spike ones, which I only wear when I'm REALLY dressed up.

Sigh, I probably wouldn't wear high heels as often as I do if the BF weren't 7 inches taller than me and able to loom over me. I don't like being loomed over.

However, my heels put me on eye level with my brother, and he doesn't like that. Heh, heh.

LOL! My DH is 7 inches taller than I am, but it's normally not too bad. He does enjoy it when I dress up and I'm 3 inches taller, though.

My Swan boots, between the heel and the platform, gave me another 6 inches. Damn, I was a tall Swannie!!!!! Cheeky

Yeah they do... I think there's episodes of Ken and Jun taking something out of the bottom of their shoes...

Jinpei takes something out of his boot too, in Gatch II.

I guess so.... Big Grin Not very Swan-like, is it? She's supposed to be somewhat more petite...

No wonder I weigh so much, compared to Jun!

I got Joe's canon height from here:

http://www.chronicsite.com/shrine/index.html

But I'm not sure if I've ever seen canon stats for Jun, or the others, but she's clearly not too much shorter than Joe (unless she's got her high heels on!), although he is standing further back in this screencap.

Posted by clouddancer on 26-09-2008 at 17:24:

I think James may have posted somewhere the team stats. that I then copied.
This is what I have:

Jun 16 (160cm 5-3?) (45kg 99lbs)
Joe 18 (185cm 6-1?) (60kg 132lbs)
Ken 18 (180cm 5-11?) (60kg 132lbs)
Ryu 17 (170cm 5-7?) (80kg 176lbs)
Jinpei 10 (120cm 3-11?) (30kg 66lbs)

So as you can see, in that image you posted, Joe must be MUCH further back because Ken is meant to be shorter than the Condor.

Yes, I knew Joe was supposed to be 6'1" (and I was a little over 6 feet in the Swannie boots) and knew Jun was supposed to be fairly short. Didn't realize 5'3" though... ouch!

5' 3" for Jun does seem short, not that one can't be small but mighty.

Maybe the artists didn't necessarily always adhere to this stat -in the screencap I attached, she doesn't look eight inches shorter than Ken, she looks the same height as Ryu -about 5' 7".

Condorfoan, from what I remember of you, you wouldn't have any trouble reaching Joe's heights...

And now I am reminded of another TB cartoon.... Big Grin
