I remember laughing so hard the first time I saw that episode, "I can't believe Joe actually decked Dr. Nambu!" Granted, Nambu was hardly in his right mind at the time, but still...

I think Joe has hit every member of the team--Ken the most--but that's just him.

It's interesting the information on this thread about Nambu. I wonder what kind of upbringing did he have--was he ever in a serious relationship with someone. I know he's very knowledgable but he's poor at being a medical doctor. Honestly, putting Joe in a centrifuge to remove a piece of shrapnel from his brain? Geez!

He is supposed to have several doctorates, but I'm guessing that the one in medicine wasn't his biggest priority. Wink3

I agree that he seems like the type who would get so absorbed in work and research that he would never have time for a serious romantic relationship.

His clothes in the OVA definitely put me off, though!

Wow, look at that strong jaw line. You know he kind of reminds me of that pilot the team takes in, who has lost his memory, and then who turns on Ken, because he is Galactor and has to be killed.

(Ummm, I hope I am not mixing up my versions here, like TJ's children do. Sorry I wish I could remember the title or eps. number. That would make it much easier to describe. Wink )

Yes, his chin could almost compete with Joe's.

I don't mind glasses. I expect to be wearing reading glasses myself in a few years, as everyone else in my family has needed them by their early 40s.

I had fun playing with photoshop again today, although I think his mouth looks a bit off. I have to get my fic done so that I can do some drawing!
