As for confidence thing. TJ is the expert at that. Well her, Springie and Hino have been great helping me start writing again. I started writing my first fic about a year ago and it took me almost 4 months before I gained enough confidence to send it to TJ for her to read. Then it probably took another month or so of her prodding to get me to post it. (I am a very insecure Owl.)

Otherwise your confidence to post seems to be great, you have taken the first step and begun posting. Keep doing as you are and soon you will be a full fledged member, addicted to this place and unwilling to take time off.
But if you have any problems just ask, there are always friendly folks here who are willing to help. Pleased

for the quote lesson -- I tried to edit out my original quote and just leave your answer - let's see if it worked?!

As for posting - you are all have been so welcoming that it is easy to write back and forth with you, but I definitely lurked around for a while to see if anything horrible was likely to happen! Getting up the guts to actually write a fic and post - now that is daunting. But I have a feeling you all will cure me of that too.

Trust me now that you have let it slip that you "might" be interested in writing there will always be someone around to lovingly prod you. animewink

It may not come at first, since you need some time to adjust to posting, but it will come. This Owl will always be there to support you. (That is what the Owl does best for her team. That and maybe offer a few suggestions to encourage new stories. Winknudge

Now that you mention it cd, I did see a lot of sticks and whips in my perusal of the rubber room. Swans are fierce when they want to get something out of you, I think. It's reassuring to have an Owl around!

CD, you have no need to feel insecure! We have all enjoyed the stories you have posted, and we are eager to see more of your AU. I am however a little concerned that I am starting to feel a bit addicted . . . is this normal? Will it wear off? (I've been reading all sorts of things today - of course I do have the day off so its not like its interfering with my job . . .yet.)

From my own experience, it does not wear off. Whether it's "normal" or not is another matter...

It's normal, but eventually you will have read all of the past posts and then you will have less to 'update' on all of the time. Wink
