I knew Mark was an eagle, Princess was a swan because of the visor was long and orange like a swans beak,

I did think Keyop was a swallow or a sparrow-hawk, Tiny was a robin because the green and red were similar to Batman's sidekick Robin's colours and Jason was a falcon. Sigh, my young mind didn't know otherwise.

Sad to say, but my very first impression of Jinpei was a duck. The beak, you see.

Nice research there, Met! Reading

My BoTP memories are fuzzy at best, so I really don't remember if I made any connections between the characters and the birds they were supposed to represent. Though to this day I still can't figure out the Condor... All the other birds have some connotation of beauty or majesty or mysticism, but the condor, being a vulture, is known as being nature's garbage can...

Eh, that's Nambu/Anderson for you... Give the team member with the most issues another negative to deal with... Shrug

You know, if we had remotes back then, I would have hit the mute button every time I saw his face. With all that noise, poor Keyop never got the same amount of character development as everyone else. At least, I didn't think so.

Vulture, really. Wow didn't really read that part. Does this mean that Joe is moonlighting as a bin man?

If you aren't too sure what a bin man is, then please go to wikipedia link. You learn new things everyday.

Right everybody let's sing the Condor's signature tune, My Old Man's a Dustman by Lonnie Donegan.

I have to admit the Condor does take out the trash real good, whether it be goons or mechas...LOL

Maybe that's what the writers were going for.

Met. when I see this, for some reason I think of Oscar the Grouch ... and relate him to the Condor.

Cloud is now trying to remember Oscars song ...

I have here a sneaker that's tattered and torn, it's all full of holes and the laces are worn -a gift from my mother the day I was born, Oh I love trash!"

Thank you lborgia.
Does not quite fit Joe but with a few adaptations it could be a Mecha that is tattered and torn and Gallactors with holes and worn laces. Circle

(Or maybe the Gallactors wear lace uniforms... biggrin2)

I learned that song in kindergarten for a "concert" the class put on for our parents. It's amazing what sticks in your memory.

I could see Joe being sentimental about gifts from his mother, but she would never have given him trash!

That brings back memories, though I see I didn't remember the lyrics exactly.

I found your song too, Met. I swear everything is on youtube.

I found it myself. My mum has a a box set of 4 CDs of songs from the 60s, which I copied and the song was on it.

OOooooo, found this Oscar and Johnny Cash on YouTube.
