LOL! I didn't mind the fire ants so much, though I did get bit quite a few times (who knew such a small thing could cause such pain??). And thank goodness I never had a coral snake crawl into my garage, though many of my friends did.

Luckily, I never really had a run in with anything of the highly-poisonous variety, though I think I came across just about every creepy crawly you could think of... Wood spiders, scorpions (both the red and gray varieties), palmetto bugs, roaches, anoles, five-lined skink, tree frogs... And these are just the bugs that got into my house! Of course I did have the black racer snake living in my yard.... He was always fun to see.... Rolleyes

So glad I'm back up north, where the bugs die over the winter!! Big Grin

WHEW!! I made it!!! 15 hours there and 15 hours back...UGH...that was a long trip! And yes...it was Deliverance... pound I'm just glad it's over!!! I've paid my dues! woohoo
