Dunno, since I didn't see Gatchaman Fighters but I was only guessing. As for Joe, he didn't die in Gatchaman as he came back as a cyborg.

That's impossible. If Joe was undead, that meaans he dead like a vampire or a zombie or in his case a cyborg vampire or cyborg zombie.
