Realistic?

Me?

Collapses in fits of laughter. Accidentally rolls into prone Eagle-Condor heap. Heap groans and mutters something about sleep deprival.

Lightweights, the pair of them.

...And before anyone starts with the self-righteous flagpole up the posterior thing, please note that I said KEN, not Mark. They are two very different people, alas.

Flagpole up the posterior? How many ways can this be interpreted? Oh let me count the ways...

Hmm...I've always been on the "they're straight" path. Probably won't leave it, either. ^_^ Hmmm...you *do* have a point about Ken, though. He's rather cute. (For an animated character....aw heck, who cares? HE'S CUTE! SO THERE!)

Me, myself, I prefer cute guys to be straight. Why, you ask? Well I'll tell you. If all the cute guys are straight, then it reduces the liklihood of me having a crush on a gay guy...again. *smacks forehead*

Aims kick at snoring Condor-Eagle heap. Ignores grumbles.

Oh, I think they're both straight, too. But that's half the fun of yaoi conflict, ne? Two straight men with a strange and irresistible attraction to each other... Happy

And no, they're not always in bed in my fics (no matter what Lyon the Terrible tells you... Rolleyes Depends on the mood I'm in. Sometimes I write yaoi. Sometimes I write them with women. Sometimes there's (gasp) no sex at all. I actually write PG-13 quite often, although it's an effort (The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea only has the occasional bad word, after all).

I just like to mix it up a little. Big Grin

Lola's not a fighter hun. Hows about I fluff up the nest and we enjoy a gallon of Mead?

Oh, EVIL thoughts of a dimensional rift story...can you imagine Mark and Ken????????

Or would that be like matter and anti-matter and cause a huge explosion, a great big crater in the ground and a cloud of white spandex strips? Eek

Studiously ignores looks of alarm from Eagle-Condor heap.

I guess it would cause some conflict. ^_^ I dunno, I just get tired of it from some other fandoms out there. Like the fanfic authors who put Harry and Malfoy together and what-not. Drives me nuts.

Hmm...I think Ken would kill Mark pretty quick. Ken doesn't have the patience needed to resist the urge to strangle Mark...or worse...^_^ Definitely worse.

Well, that's like putting Jinpei with President Anderson. Yuck. NOT what I had in mind.

Fortunately we're not overrun with bad yaoi in this fandom. The stuff I've read is mostly okay, although the ones where Ken is portrayed as the "girl" turn my stomach a bit. In my stories they're both very much men, no matter what their relationship happens to be at the time.

Yes, we want to see Devil and Deep Blue Sea, part II.

Just went over to BirdGo, and there's nothing I haven't read weeks ago.

So, did you get my hopes up for nothing? Is this a second advertisement for something you did ages ago (no, I won't gush over it a second time), or will you get it up there soon?

Nope. Just finished part II this week. I will get it posted as soon as possible...probably tomorrow. I have a lot of writing to catch up on, thanks to hectic RL recently!
