What you do is really not that much different TJ. We are all writing about the same characters and just putting them through different situations. The only difference is I created a world that is understandable to ME, where all the science and my different loves and dreams exist and can come true.
You have made sense of the original Universe so kept the characters there.

Well, yes, I try to stick to the canon universes when I can, but my stories don't connect (despite the occasional reference) to each other, the way they do in those AUs you guys create.
