Hey, Ebony - you're in Sydney aren't you? The Head Office of my work is in Surrey Hills, and I'll definaitely be down there in early December for our Christmas Party. My flight back is not until the Saturday afternoon, so we should catch up - either then or when I'm next in Sydney! We can do some eveil swan plotting.......
Yup, Firebird, Ste and I are together (I believe that Regi and SJ were taking credit for introducing us....) Been over a year now and still happy and slowly starting to plan him coming over here to live (miss him dreadfully... :sniff: ) I reckon I'm pretty lucky to have somebody as nice as Ste: it's not ofen you meet somebody who nobody has a bad word to say about (except he doesn't do enough writing!)

My days off are Sunday/Monday. It is about 45-60 mins from my place to city by train, so that should be easy to do!
I drive sometimes but you know what the tolls are like in Sydney, trains can be cheaper!

I'm going to be flying over you in January... twice! My family is taking a cruise out of Sydney, and we're going to be flying up to Daydream Island for a few days, then coming back to Sydney for another few days before boarding the ship. I'm planning on meeting up with Ebony in Sydney, and if I could meet up with you too that would be awesome! Ooh... THREE (count 'em, three!) Gatch fans together at one time. My heart might burst!
Anyhow, I'm just throwing out ideas. No obligation! (although it would be awesome...

TJ is your January trip a regular thing?
Only asking because hubby and I have a holiday in Oz covering Christmas and part of January but it wont be to next year or the year after (depending on funds). Maybe once we fiinalise some things I can see if I can fit in a visit to you Sydney people?

Whoo hoo! This would be sooo cool! We're going to be at the Novotel Menzies in Sydney from January 5 through 9. Ebony's going to hang out with us on Jan 6 and 7... I think... we'll be doing the Harbor Cruise one of those days and I think a tour of the city on the other day... not sure. It's up for grabs.
Anyone else want to come and have a Gatch party with us???
Oh yes, and Three Swans is NOT bad... but three Swans, two reluctant Eagles and two terrorizing Condor kids... now that's something else!
