That's right. They did have the giant spiders in Harry Potter. Was it Ron who was afraid of them?

There was a giant spider and a frightenly-huge number of regular-sized ones...which scared Ron to no end. (Why couldn't they be butterflies?)

With fangs? It has to be something scary.

I don't recall any fangs...just the giant one and all its "children" who were very hungry and moved as if they were of one mind. I'm not scared of spiders per se, but I found the way that huge number of critters moving in such an unnaturally organized manner to be unnerving!

Well Fang was there, however, I think the enormous pincers on the spiders might just as well have been fangs.

For what it is worth, knowing those spiders were there, you'd have never gotten me into that forest (I guess in that respect Ron was place right in Gryffindor).

"I'll show those males I'm no dove!"

I guess no-one told her -- or the writers -- that she's supposed to be a swan. Oh well.

Hawks might like to eat spiders...

Good point Becky .... maybe that is Princess' plan, to lead the giant Hawks towards the giant Spiders so they eat/attack them.

Actually, she is a dove in Eagle Riders.

But this is supposed to be BotP, darn it. Doves are not pink. But then again, Princess doesn't wear a body suit, either.

At least a bodysuit makes her more like the boys!

I suspect they didn't want to draw panty shots in a kids' comic... Wink

That's true.

Actually, in most of my fics, I have Princess in a body suit like the guys. I hate her skirt.
