Ghost Rider

I also came back an hour ago from watching jGhost Rider. Not fantastic brilliant but betterr than some comiic book films and I would recommend anybody to watch it if they like that sort of thing.

Not sure but something about this film makes me think of cheddar. Doubt I will see this, I am not really into comic book films.

Took the movie in 2 hours and spent another 2 watching it. Nicely done effects, spectacular motojumps. I liked Johnny boy in fire mode.

Blackheart and his 3 baddies were lame. The air guy was easier to kill than that punk.
I bet he got a spanky from daddy Mephisto when he got back to Hell.

I agree with that assement of the stupid demon villians. I have seen better monsters/demon/villians on Doctor Who in the 90s.

Just watched this yesterday... Loved the whole Ghost Rider image... just wished that they could have showed a battle between GR and Mephisto. Course that leaves room for a part two!

I watched this film and have to say I was disappointed. The effects around ghost rider were good. However as mentioned before I found the villains lame and not as bad as they could have been.

I wanted more spectacular fights between them and as for Mephisto and black heart the devil became nothing to be feared.

Disappointing.

Rantimus Maximus Ahead.
Warning! Warning! Warning!

I was really excited about this movie when I saw the previews. I have followed the Ghost Rider comic for years in all it's decient and really bad incarnations. Not a top tier comic, but one I liked despite that. I was giddy fangirl squeely with excitement over the movie.

And then....I saw it.

The only thing that kept me from walking out of that movie were the blow me out of the sky fantastic special effects....and Sam Elliot.

Other than that...this movie was sooooo bad bad baddity bad.

I have once or twice seen a decient Nicholas Cage film. Most of the time, the guy is an acting moron. He acts with all the subtlty of an avalanche of wet paper pulp (complete with mushy splat at the end). He surpassed himself this time and added moldy Elvis jumpsuits to the avalanche this time. Urg.

In fact, everything was pretty ham-handed with this film. The script. The dialogue delivery. The craptastic directing (this is all his fault really). The goofy bad guys. The goofy good guys. The tit interest-excuse me-love interest.

The supporting cast seemed deliver their lines with a kind of apologetic wince. "Sorry, I know this movie sucks". But then, that's probably just me projecting.

I stayed for the awesome special effects. And Sam Elliot, who makes whatever he does good, even dialogue as bad as the Crypt Keeper's.

*Story stomps the movie into the dirt repeatedly in serious fangirl disgust. *

I see I'm not the only one who regrets seeing only 30 seconds of actions from the bad guys! That's how much it took the Fire dude to fry them! All the three of them.

Baaah, I think I'm going to delete that crap out off my hardware!

At least you know you are not alone Amy.

I have to agree I have rarely see a good Nicholas Cage film. Surely there was another actor they could have found for the part with all that talent out there?

oh well will just have to hope that if the gatchaman film is live they dont spoil that.

*crosses fingers and toes and prays really hard*

"Put. Down. The Bunny."

Best Bad Movie Line Ever.
