I really like the actors ADV chose for Gatchaman. I was wondering if there was a site so you can find out what other Anime these actors have done.

I used to use fuzzy.com (or something like that) but it doesn't seem to be working any more. I might have the address wrong but it used to list english language voice actors, not just translated anime, so you could trace people's careers back all the way from The Simpsons to My Little Pony Eek3

Thanks Meridianday! Not only does it show past but upcoming performances. I was curious since I saw the cast list for "The Guvyer" which is coming soon to ADV. The cast included Brian Jepson and Luci Christian. (It might be a good place to check to see if they are recording Gatchaman II--I hope!)

Gatch II and F are unlikely to be done any time soon. Disney owns them, or at least enough of them (and used that ownership to produce Eagle Riders).

Disney owns Gatch II and Gatch F? Ugghh!! We'll never see them now or they will be so badly sliced together they will still stink!

Guess I'll have to look for Gatch II and Gatch F elsewhere. I'd rather seen the original uncut to what Disney would do to them. Imubang

Disney has the rights because Saban bought them to make Eagle Riders, and Disney own Saban.

Assuming Saban's rights haven't expired, of course.

Disney bought out Ghibli and have started releasing their films, they are completely untouched except one name change for Laputa as in Spain that means donkeys testicles or something so they changed it to Castle in the Sky which is the English interpretation anyway.

I don't believe Disney own the rights to Gatchaman, only Gatch 2 and F. Sandy Frank probably still has original Gatchaman's rights, although I think they're due to expire fairly soon.

Thanks for the answer Meridianday. Probably Disney will buy Gatchaman when Sandy Frank's rights expire. Does anyone know how long Disney has the rights to Gatch II and Gatch F? I'm hoping to see these before I die.

As I said, Disney only has the rights because they bought Saban. They may have no interest in Gatch 2 or F at all for their own purposes. I don't know whether they would have any interest in original Gatchaman either, it would depend I suppose on how well the ADV sales are going.

I don't know how long Saban would have bought the rights for. But I bet Jason Hofius, who's a member of the BOTP mailing list over at yahoo groups, would know if anyone does.
