Dig those 70's duds...

Over on the Gatchaman Archive site, one of our discussions kinda morphed into us posting piccies of us way back when we were nothing but Gatchatots. It has been fun to see all the awesome 70's wear we had...I thought it might be a fun topic to comtinue over here. So what did we all look like," back in the day", when we were watching BOTP for the first time???

I will ask my mum for a photo but hopefully you won't see me as a Gatchatot.

My parents put all their photos in the attic. Then it turned out they had a leak in their roof, and it ruined 40+ years worth of photos. Bleh.

But at least they got the leak fixed eventually.

Cep LOL! Here's Cep in his "Gatchatot" days...heehee

awwww...Meridian...that's awful...none of the photos survived? Crying6 Your parents must have been devastated. My piccies are my prize possessions...I have to retrieve one from my Mom's house this weekend.

There are some really embarrassing ones in her albums. My brothers even had the "page boy" hairdos. Everyone thought they were little girls! Blushing

I have seen the photos of my parents and grandparents. The photos of my dad with hair and sideburns freaks me out, as does the photo of my mum with a beehive type hairstyle.

The black and white ones of my mum's parents did look ancient.

There is a funny one of my grandfather's dog chasing my brother when he was a toddler (excluding the mullet he will have as a teenager).

Oh no?? Again?? Very Tired

I have a pic when I was a veeeeeery cute litte girl, I'd have to scan it. Really I'd have to scan all the pix my parents took with a polaroid, some of them are fading. Such a terrible piece of crap that camera was.

Posted by gatchgirl on 18-09-2006 at 20:56:

I wasn't too bad back then either, just wonder what happened to it all!

Does that mean that the 80s fashion, a pink shirt, white blazer, white trousers and white shoes but no socks will be coming back again? Scared

Ok, I finally nabbed a few piccies from mom...here I am... in the days when I was wishing I had a birdstyle and wristband like Princess! One of the pics shows my brothers with a couple of friends, when they were into breakdancing! I use to rap "Jam on It" for them so they could breakddance to it! How embarrassing... My bros are the two in the checkerboard painter's caps...LOL

Where are those piccies, Gatchgirl...and everyone else, too??? Springie taps her foot, waiting to see more "Gatchatots"...

heehee...thanks Metalliant! But the sentence should read, "How cute you WERE!" You should see the older pics...when I was around 14...I wanted "wings"...they chopped my hair off and it curled up tight...I looked like Little Orphan Annie...LOL! Took me forever to grow it back out!!!
