Timewarp?

As some of you have already noticed we appear to be missing the last 3 weeks of posts.

I have no idea why this is but I will be contacting the hosting company to see why this has occurred.

Regards,

Cep - Gatchamania.net Administrator Gatch

Sigh. I was going to use the moving description as the basis for my BirdScramble trib.

And it's forgotten our reading history, too. One board, it says there are new posts in threads from weeks ago, as in I hadn't read them yet. I know that's not right.

So, lesson number 1539018737 in internet: never use a forum as your only copy.

Cheers!

I have been informed by our host that a hard disk failed completely and the backup was taken from the most recent that they keep (which is nice because many hosts do not backup anything).

They are going to try and recover the lost data for me but do not hold out much hope. So there we are Terminator

Cricket disappears for a bit to make an offsite backup of her own site.

Cep, our host has a thing where they email you backups, .tar I think. Any chance of something similar for this one, automated? (Sighs, can't do it for my site since I can't do tars and don't have shell access.)

I was sure that I'd got to over 1000 as well.

Still, at least we only lost 3 weeks. Last time things went missing, we lost half the forums. So 3 weeks isn't so bad.

What can I say or sing. I think w should change the words to "Let's do teh Timewarp." to "Let's NOT do the Timewarp.", record it onto a loop and send it to Zoltar and his Happy Boys of Spectre. Evillaugh

I noticed that as well. At least the latest He-Man series was better than the 80s one and I can tell a story or 2 about that as well.

I kinda liked the 80's version. Although I have heard some things that I think came from the newer one and it sounded pretty interesting. I would be willing to read a fic about the He-Man characters.

Speaking of which does anyone know if the theme from the original movie of He- Man and She-Ra is out there in JPEG or anything??? Wouldn't mind hearing it again. Slideshow

JPEG is pictures!

However, I couldn't resist looking. These pages have mp3 versions of the two theme tunes - I'd completely forgotten the She-Ra one.
