Question Information Please...

Does anyone know exactly how the team's implants are supposed to work? I remember them talking something about radioactivity and frequencies during the "lost shoe" ep...but I'm not sure...
I've had an idea for a new fic..."What would happen if the team's implants failed?"...but I'm not sure what exactly might make them fail...

Any input here will be greatly appreciated...
You, scientific geniuses, you... Thinking

Apart from the stuff about wavelengths triggering the transformation process and some radioactivity being involved, they work however you want them to. There's no canon other than that.

Thanks Meridian, so does it sound feasable (sp?) for their implants to malfunction when exposed to some type of radiation?Smash

k, I've got another strange question... just something I've been curious about... In the Bitter Bird Missile ep, Koji ( Jun's childhood friend) recognizes her immediately in bird style...how come it's such a mystery to Katse? They do have the same faces, y'know... just a wierd thought...Shrug

Ahhhh - but then that is the mystery that will never be adequately explained. Let's face it - there seem to be an awful lot of people who know what the team looks like out of uniform.

And we do know that in BotP, Zoltar seems to know their civilian identites (catches them, and in one episode they have Princess in civilian mode and the Commander du Jour knows exactly who she is) - and in Gatch they seem to know who Joe is.

It's probably one of the biggest inconsistencies of the series, no matter what the incarnation.

Akcherly, are you talking Gatch or BOTP? In Gatch, they don't have implants - it's all done by the bracelets, special clothes that transform, and skill/fitness/training. The implants only exist in BOTP.

On the recognition thing, there's also that episode where Galactor makes a "cardboard cutout" of Princess where, despite only having her shoe to go on, the cutout includes her swept out hairstyle. That sort of hairstyle isn't something you could guess at from the shape of her helmet Wink

That question has been on my mind quite a lot too when watching the series.

There's one where they do have a detransmute ray. Joe's leg gets done. Think it's the one with the old geezer gunner.
