I'll admit I'm not a fan of his. But it's not easy to miss his human aquarium stunt.

So he's going to be spending 7 days in an 8 foot sphere of water? I don't think that water's going to be crystal clear by day 7 Wink

The escape sequence at the end is supposed to take 9 minutes of breath-holding. Apparently the record for static breath-holding in water currently stands at just less than 9 minutes, and that involves the person keeping still rather than wriggling about. But if a person is breath-holding pure oxygen rather than air, then they can last for 15 minutes - still keeping still. So even if he's breathing pure oxygen, then wriggling about escaping from shackles for 9 minutes would still be quite impressive, I think.

David Blaine lost my respect when he moved from doing very good street magic to all this big hollywood show magic crap with mass illusions and stunts.

He should have sticked to what people liked him for in the first place.
