Ff

`The Magun has thawed...`

Got FF Unlimited, (phase 1) on the cheap

Thought `ho hum`

I watched it and im kinda hooked

I like the character design, the sensible melding of animation and CGi and the plot. (scary watermelon patches anyone??)

Its Amano, isnt it?

the music is good too.

Just to let all you FF fans know you have a convert

but what to see next?

Final Fantasy: Unlimited is an anime series. I have the first two discs and plan on getting the rest when finances allow. It's really good. I was surprised by how much I like it. I do believe that Amano was involved in the character designs, but I'm not sure, so don't quote me on that.

I was surprised too.

is it just me or do I detect a Moorcockian element there?

Kase is definately Corum, the prince with the silver hand. Not only has he traded his right hand in for a demon summoner, he only appears to have one normal eye...

And theres a lot of Moorcock in Amanos art.

I've never read Moorcock. Haven't ever heard of him, actually, but reading his bio on the internet, I might have to look for some of his books.

Moorcock. Eeeps. Hubby loves him. I love hubby. I'm the one who will decide which boxes get unpacked first, and the box is well labelled. I'll do the kids' books first; with any luck, there won't be enough shelf space for them on the main shelves.

Im not quite sure how to interpret that.

I'm pretty sure I've interpreted it correctly.

Husband will never realise that you'll be trying to keep his books hidden, I suppose?

Nope, never. So long as I don't try to sell them, they can stay in the boxes till he wants to read them, which I don't see happening because he's so busy with other stuff.
