Sorry to all of you who will not read this until after the 17th. Just hope everyone had a great day and that they drank their share of green beer. I will have to say that I'm not sure if every country celebrates it so I'm curious to find that out also.

I'm not in a green beer country. I like my beer brown, on the rare occasions I like beer Wink

But it's celebrated by the irish here, of course. Lots of green hats and wigs and traditional clothes and dancing, but I think they leave the guinness black Wink

I have a friend who's a landlord and not only celebrates St Patrick's Day but also St George's Day. All he needs to do is to celebrate St Andrew's Day (Scotland) and St David's Day (Wales) and he will have a full set and be drunk on all four days.

As for St Pats day, Aussies need no better excuse to get to the nearest pub for the day and share a few Irish jokes, downing a couple of pints of Guiness , or Baileys. warbling out Danny boy " or when Irish eyes are smiling. Pimp3

Personally , on St Pats Day, I just like to crank up U2 and go where the streets have no name, singing with Pride till sunday Bloody Sunday!
